Located at 137 8th Ave SW, beneath the renowned Murrieta’s patio, CavernUs preserves the rugged sandstone and quiet charm of Calgary’s Old Alberta Hotel. This space, once home to hotel workers in the 1800's, now provides a secure, climate-stabilized haven for the city’s wine and spirits enthusiasts. Every detail, from the original stonework to the dimly lit lounge, reinforces an atmosphere of privacy and comfort. Frequently Asked Questions About CavernUs
What types of memberships are available at CavernUs?
CavernUs offers Lounge and Locker memberships, both starting at $200 per month. Locker memberships include secure, climate-controlled storage and exclusive member benefits.
On-boarding Process
- Members get setup in our system granting access to the following:
- Member Portal
- Member profile (contact information, credit card details (secured), booked events. Member charge activities (statements & receipts)
- Lounge / Locker Location
- Member can have access granted either via a FOB or a Mobile Credential
- Grants them access to entrance and selected storage room where their locker is located
- Member Locker Selection & Lock Setup
- Member chooses which locker room and locker location
- Member sets locker combination for their locker
- Once onboarded, the member can then choose two options:Order product via our Member Portal with participating Retail Partners to procure product to stock their locker
- Pricing is Retail less a determine price reduction (varies by retail partner)
- Free Delivery to CavernUs to be placed into their locker
- Private items can be brought into the space to be store in their location to be consumed under regulations set by the AGLC

What is included in the Beverage Concierge service?
The Beverage Concierge assists with rare bottle sourcing, inventory tracking, and cellar organization, all managed through a personalized member portal.
